The Beginning

Look we did it!

I think we may have actually created a Blog.....

Rightio, here I go,  we will be out of the house and into the caravan as a permanent residence as of 25th February 2015.

To be totally honest, we're still sitting in the midst of a completely 'working' home, albeit a little messy with boxes and bits everywhere.  Its kind of hard to do things too far ahead when you're trying to keep life with children running, especially starting homeschooling for the first time as well, but a big rush at the last moment should see us out of here on time.  Stephen finishes work 5 days before so that'll be our rush time.

Lets keep our fingers crossed that all goes according to plan.

HOMESCHOOLING

We started school today, our first day was quite perfect really, a trip to the Art Gallery of WA - the boys loved looking for the items on the worksheets we obtained at the front desk.  It was a delight seeing them get so involved with the art pieces and taking in so much information.  There were definite favourites, the dot paintings go down well in our family (OK with me), the Auguste Rodin statue of Adam was a talking point and Oliver spent much time sitting down in front of Gregory Pryor's Underwood 2 to sketch his impression on paper.  It was also pretty awesome seeing the court house and holding cells, Caleb wouldn't let me shut the door on him, don't know why?

We did have to skim through the photography section, interesting photos weren't really for their eyes, not yet anyway, I'm sure they'll appreciate them later in life. hehe (keep walking boys, keep walking)
